See you at the Fair – September 20 & 21

Sep 2, 2014 | Friends News & Updates, Volunteers |

Once again Friends of the Blue Ridge Mountains will host an exhibit at the Bluemont Fair, September 20-21, 2014.The Bluemont Fair (bluemontfair.org), now in its 45th year, is an old fashioned country fair that takes place throughout the historic village of Bluemont in western Loudoun County in the shadow of the beautiful mountains.  Our exhibit is situated under the covered porch of our office, right on Snickersville Turnpike in the heart of the action! This is a wonderful opportunity to share our mission with the thousands of folks of all ages who visit the Fair from near and far.

We hope that you will take this opportunity to stop by and visit us.

Better still, we’d love to have members help us staff the exhibit! It’s a lot of fun! Shifts are 2 hours long on both Saturday and Sunday as follows: 10:30am-12:30pm; 12:30-2:30pm, and; 2:30-4:30pm. A Friends board member will share the duties during each shift—a great opportunity to learn more about what’s been happening with Friends and some exciting new things in the works!

Please let us know if you can participate via reply email.

See you at the Fair!
