45th Annual Bluemont Fair

Nov 20, 2014 | Friends News & Updates |

Bluemont 2014The 45th Annual Bluemont Fair took place September 20 and 21 during two beautiful warm and sunny days with large crowds both days numbering in the thousands. Our exhibit, situated under the covered porch of our office on Snickersville Turnpike in the heart of the village, experienced much foot-traffic, affording us opportunities to talk to visitors about our work and to make the verbal visual through our project map and our photo display. We engaged over 130 individuals and sold a number of FBRM caps and mugs. The Bluemont Fair, the first Fall community fair in Loudoun County, takes place throughout the historic village, settled in the 1760’s, and features juried arts and crafts, music, food, 10K race, Pickle & Pie Contest, and lots of good, old-timey, family fun-all within the shadow of our beautiful Blue Ridge.
