Call for FBRM Board Nominees

Mar 9, 2017 | Annual Meeting and Reports |

The Friends of the Blue Ridge Mountains is looking for help! We are actively recruiting new Board members who can join our vibrant and growing organization. The Board is the primary group responsible for ensuring we fulfill our mission to preserve, enhance and celebrate the Blue Ridge Mountains as a valuable resource and treasured space for present and future generations. We set strategic direction and develop and implement programs to support our efforts. We are seeking individuals with a variety of skills and, while no specific experience is necessary, knowledge of fundraising, land stewardship, finance and administration, education and/or membership development can be particularly valuable. If none of these skills is your sweet spot, please know that we are also looking for people willing to bring a love of the mountains and a willingness to dedicate some time, energy, and whatever skills they do have to helping us advance the mission. If you are interested or know someone who may be, please contact Sandi Marra at info@friendsofblueridge.org.
