Loudoun’s Future State Park in Jeopardy

Feb 9, 2019 | Featured, Friends News & Updates, Resources |

Photo from Loudoun Now

We would encourage our members and friends to write the members of the House and Senate Budget Conference Committee and urge them to allow for the Budget Bill to have language allowing the Commonwealth to accept title to this very valuable parcel of land for our new state park. This donation acceptance will give the Virginia State Parks app. 1,000 acres of parkland connecting to the Appalachian Trail National Scenic Trail and the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park.
