Jefferson County Development Authority’s Meeting today (9/18/18) at 3:00 pm
Today is the Jefferson County Development Authority’s (JCDA) third and FINAL reading of the water bond for Rockwool at 3pm.
Please attend the JCDA meeting at 3pm at the Public Services Building on 1948 Wiltshire Rd. We need another massive turn out. They likely won’t make enough room for many of us in the conference room, so let’s fill the parking lot and sidewalks to greet the JCDA members as they enter the building! For the parking lot rally, show up around 2 pm, bring your ToxicRockwool sign or bring a homemade poster. Bonus points if you take pics and post them to social media!!
If you can’t make it to the meeting in person (and even if you can!), please ask each of the JCDA members to vote NO on the water bond for Rockwool. You don’t need to write a lengthy message. It can be, “I am contacting you to ask you to vote NO on the water bond for Rockwool. Over 11,000 citizens are against this project and the way in which it was forced on us. Do what’s right for Jefferson County and vote NO on the water bond.”
