A.T. Community Designation Ceremony

On Sunday, June 4th, there will be a ceremony in which Bluemont will receive their formal A.T. Community Certificate from representatives of the A.T. Conservancy. Our board president, Peter Weeks, will be speaking on behalf of Friends. The event will be held, rain or shine, at Bears Den from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm. In addition to the ceremony, there will be music, food, and many activities the entire family will enjoy! Please RSVP to bluemontatc@aol.com

Appalachian Trail Festival In The Gap

Saturday, June 10

In conjunction with the Appalachian Trail Festival, the towns of Hillsboro and Round Hill present a celebration of the Appalachian Trail with a day of music, local vendors, demonstrations and food at The Old Stone School.

Performances by Mink’s Miracle Medicine, Justin Trawick and the Common Good and Shannon Bielski and Moonlight Drive kick off the celebration.
