Potomac Appalachian Trail Club’s Fall Open House at Bears Den Lodge

Picture this: It’s late October. The leaves are red and orange, swirling around as you walk down a wooded path. The air feels crisp and cool and the sun is shining down through the trees to warm your back as you approach Bears Den Lodge, where a number of fun activities awaits you.

Join the PATC at Bears Den Lodge in Bluemont, Virginia on Saturday, October 28th. From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm they will host various demos and activities, including a gear sale, autumn craft station and more. Special guests will include local AT communities and PATC’s Mountaineering and Ski Touring sections. Enjoy free refreshments and lunch while listening to live music. They’ll end the day with a short hike to take in all of the beautiful fall foliage. Please visit their website for more information.
