On Sunday May 4, the Waterford Foundation will sponsor a free open house from noon to 5:00 PM.
Come take a step back in time and immerse yourself in Loudoun’s history at the Waterford Foundation Open House. To kickoff National Historic Preservation Month, the Foundation invites everyone to explore the iconic buildings and stories of Waterford. Settled in 1733, the Waterford National Historic Landmark has a long and storied history of agriculture, craft, industry, women’s history, African American history, and more.
Throughout the Village, you will have the opportunity to explore the Waterford National Historic Landmark with:
- Special exhibits and tours of historic buildings like the Waterford Mill and Second Street School
- Children’s activities, including Sally the Sheep’s Puzzle Hunt with prizes for those who complete it
- Guided Walking Tour of the Village of Waterford
