A Wonderful Day at the Park

Mar 28, 2019 | Featured, Happenings Around the Blue Ridge |

Over 30 scouts, their parents, and many volunteers gathered at Sleeter Lake Park Saturday morning to plant 22 trees, a pollinator garden, and remove brush from the Park grounds.

Thanks to the volunteers and donors with Friends of the Blue Ridge Mountains who made the day a success.

Special recognition to Meadows Farms who provided the trees and planting materials.

Years from now, as these trees grow and flourish, we will rest under the shade they give us!
